Design by Nature creates dried botanical installations for restaurants, pubs, galleries, and brand-led spaces. Working directly with business owners and marketing teams, we design sculptural botanical elements that enhance atmosphere, identity, and sense of place, becoming part of the space rather than surface decoration.

Each project is approached as a considered composition. Dried botanicals are treated as material elements, with attention to form, scale, texture, and tone in relation to the interior, furniture, and light. Installations are designed to endure, offering a refined, low-maintenance presence within busy commercial environments.

Alongside permanent installations, we also create one-off marketing campaigns and seasonal updates. From temporary features for launches to regular seasonal changes, dried botanicals offer a flexible way to keep spaces feeling fresh and relevant while remaining aligned with the character of the brand

Holy Carrot at One Off Event Installation

Design by Nature worked with Holy Carrot on a one-off event installation at One Marylebone. The brief was to create a dried botanical display that could dress multiple tables alongside a central sculptural feature, supporting the restaurant’s event presence and visual identity.

Sustainability was central to the concept, with dried botanicals selected for their longevity and low environmental impact. The installation was designed to create atmosphere and impact within a temporary setting, while remaining aligned with Holy Carrot’s values and brand aesthetic.

David Morris - Luxury Brand Event

Design by Nature was commissioned by David Morris to create a series of dried botanical sculptures and vase arrangements for a showcase event in Monaco. Working closely with the event lead, we developed a bright, sculptural botanical concept designed to complement the staging and enhance the presentation of the jewellery without competing with it.

Practical considerations were central to the brief. All arrangements were designed to travel safely from London to Monaco, requiring careful securing, packing, and coordination with logistics teams to meet EU transport requirements. The result was a visually impactful yet controlled installation, delivered seamlessly within a high-profile international event setting.

Coppa Club - Hospitality & Seasonal Campaigns

Over several years, Design by Nature collaborated with Coppa Club across multiple locations to create large-scale dried botanical installations for their outdoor igloo dining spaces. Working seasonally with the marketing team, we developed Spring / Summer and Autumn / Winter schemes that enhanced atmosphere while remaining practical to maintain across 32 igloos. The result was a flexible, repeatable installation approach suited to a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Morchella & Perilla - Seasonal Flower Shift

Design by Nature has worked with Morchella and Perilla over several years, providing dried and seasonal floral work for their restaurant spaces. Our approach has centred on developing monthly and seasonal updates that respond to the time of year while remaining in harmony with each restaurant’s refined, natural interior.

Alongside ongoing floral schemes, we also collaborate with the restaurants on special occasions, private events, and weddings. Working closely with the restaurant teams, couples, or brand partners, we create floral elements that align with the vision of each event while respecting the character and atmosphere of the space.
